WHEREAS, on August 18, 2008, Dana Marie McFarland gave birth to her daughter, Ireland Marie McFarland, in the County of Allegheny; and
WHEREAS, Ireland Marie's father, Shawn McFarland, and grandmother, Carmella Mullen, are extremely proud of this beautiful new addition to their family;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Allegheny County Council hereby welcomes Ireland Marie McFarland to our wonderful county and declares August 18, 2008 as “Ireland Marie McFarland Day” in the County of Allegheny.
