Motion of the Council of Allegheny County pulling Bill No. 4384-08, providing for an increase in the County's Homestead Exemption, from committee for an immediate final vote.

                     WHEREAS, Bill No. 4384-08, providing for an increase in the County's Homestead Exemption, was introduced and referred to the Committee on Budget and Finance on October 7, 2008; and

 

                     WHEREAS, October 7, 2008 was fifty six (56) days prior to the Regular Meeting at which this Motion will be introduced; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Rules of Allegheny County Council, Article IV, Section B.1., allow for bills to be pulled from committee by affirmative vote of two thirds (2/3) of the seated Members of Council if such motion is made within sixty (60) days from the date of the first reading of the bill;

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,

 

That this Council hereby pulls Bill No. 4384-08 from the Committee on Government Reform and authorizes an immediate final vote on the bill.
