100th Birthday

February 22, 2008

This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Freda Davis upon the momentous occasion of her 100th birthday.  Freda was born on February 22, 1908 in Tyre, now known as Santiago, Pennsylvania.  She was baptized at the Valley Presbyterian Church on Easter Sunday 1908 and 12 years later, joined the church and became a lifelong member.  A teacher with the Findlay Township Schools for 37 years, Freda was also very active within the Republican party.  She served as Chairman of the Findlay Republican Committee for a time and after moving to North Fayette, served as Chairman of the North Fayette Republican Committee.  She is the proud mother of two sons- George and Jim and was married to her husband, George, for 50 years.  Today, Freda spends much of her time attending Republican events and enjoys playing cards and having lunch with her friends at the Oakdale Senior Citizens Center.  On behalf of the residents of Allegheny County, we congratulate you on this milestone and wish you a joyous and healthy 100th year of life.
