This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Ms. Lavinia (Lee) Schumann upon the momentous occasion of her 100th birthday. Ms. Schumann was born on July 24, 1914 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. A widow, she has worked at various places including The Famous department store in McKeesport, the office of Genuine Motor Parts, Foodland and the Foster Grandparent Program. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed painting, figurines, playing cards, bowling and traveling. She was a member of the YWCA Golden Agers, Salvation Army Friendship Club and AARP Chapter 2911 in Versailles. She has five children, Leah, Janet, Alice Jean, Charles and Vicki, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. We honor Ms. Schumann for her longevity, which can be attributed to her positive attitude and outlook. Furthermore, we commend Ms. Schumann for taking a proactive approach to life, and we wish her the best as she celebrates her 100th birthday.
