Body
WHEREAS, Pennsylvania Women Work!, a non-profit organization, works to help single parents, displaced homemakers and individuals in transition to find employment and employment training in order to become more self-sufficient; and

WHEREAS, over the past two decades, Pennsylvania Women Work! and its 24 member New Choices programs across the Commonwealth have provided a holistic approach to economic self-sufficiency for over 160,000 women in transition; and

WHEREAS, on October 18, 2007 Pennsylvania Women Work! will host the 7th annual "Expanding the Circle of Hope" evening and will recognize the "Circle of Hope" awardees; and

WHEREAS, through the leadership of Mr. Todd C. Moules, state president of Pennsylvania Banking at National City Corporation, National City has supported Pennsylvania Women Work! in many ways; and

WHEREAS, National City has contributed to Pennsylvania Women Work's business clothing closet, provided professional support and guidance to their Corporate Advisory Board and Board of Directors, organized fundraising events, and mentored their participants;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Allegheny County Council does hereby recognize Mr. Todd C. Moules and National City for being awarded the Pennsylvania Women Work! "Circle of Hope" award. We commend Mr. Moules and National City for their dedication and commitment to supporting Pennsylvania Women Work! which serves as an inspiration to the residents of Allegheny County and to all.
