This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Nicholas Yurkowski in recognition of earning the rank of Eagle Scout, scouting's most distinguished honor. We commend you on the diligence and skill you displayed throughout your scouting service and on your growth through your membership in various troop leadership positions, including Patrol Leader, Troop Guide, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader. This Council extends its deepest appreciation for your service to your community in which you completed the following at the grounds surrounding Wilson Elementary School: erected a split rail fence to protect a wetlands area, plated indigenous trees and shrubs to provide food and shelter for animals, and installed benches along a trail to serve as wildlife viewing areas. Because of your hard work, the area is now certified as a Schoolyard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. You have set a high standard of commitment and dedication which the youth of our great County of Allegheny may follow, and which serves as an inspiration to this Council and the citizens of Allegheny County.
