WHEREAS, Bill No. 4415-08, advocating the implementation of an Employee Recognition Program to recognize one Allegheny County employee on a quarterly basis for his or her distinguished performance and significant contribution to public service, was introduced and referred to the Committee on Government Reform on October 21, 2008, or 259 days prior to the introduction of this motion; and
WHEREAS, Bill No. 4415-08 has never been placed on the Committee's agenda for discussion, and it has not yet been released for a final vote by the full Council; and
WHEREAS, the Rules of Allegheny County Council, Article IV, Section B.1., allow for bills to be pulled from committee by the vote of a simple majority if such motion is made after sixty (60) days from the date of the first reading of the bill;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,
That this Council hereby pulls Bill No. 4415-08 from the Committee on Government Reform and authorizes an immediate final vote on the bill.
