This certificate of achievement is presented to Paul Lutty, III in recognition of his winning the Stephen Arnold Egyptian History Contest, a national quiz about ancient Egyptian history. Paul, who shared the top honor with only one other student in the nation, received two coins, a reproduction of an ancient oil lamp and a painting on Egyptian papyrus using the ancient technique. In addition to his involvement with the St. Louise de Marillac Latin Club, Paul is involved with several sports, holds a black belt in karate, volunteers to play the piano at local nursing homes, and was most recently selected to represent St. Louise de Marillac at the Congressional Youth Leadership Council in Washington, D.C., which will occur this September. On behalf of the citizens of Allegheny County, we join with you in celebration of your distinguished achievement and we recognize you as a true role model for your peers.
