GOAL Building Dedication

April 25, 2008

This Certificate of Achievement is presented to Auberle, a McKeesport-based agency which operates under the mission, “to help children and families heal themselves,” upon the April 25, 2008 dedication of its new GOAL Building.  The GOAL Building, a $2 million project, will provide community-based living for male adolescents ages 15-18 in a state-of-the-art facility that includes twenty-four private rooms, a computer lab, a career center and recreational, kitchen and laundry facilities.  This new facility will allow young men to complete their education, learn vocational skills, participate in driver education, and develop a strong work ethic and social and independent living skills.  Allegheny County Council hereby congratulates Auberle on the opening of its highly anticipated GOAL facility and on behalf of the residents of Allegheny County, we thank you for your continued efforts to provide at-risk youth with brighter futures.
