A Resolution of the County of Allegheny amending the 2004 Capital Budget for Allegheny County.

Whereas, the County has adopted a Capital Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2004 and ending December 31, 2004; and

 

Whereas, at the request of the County's Department of Budget and Finance, County Council desires to amend the 2004 Capital Budget.

 

 

The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby resolves as follows:

 

Section 1.                     Incorporation of Preamble.

 

                                          The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Resolution are incorporated by reference in their entity herein.

 

Section 2.                     Approval of Amendment to 2004 Capital Budget.                     

 

                     The County Council of Allegheny County approves the amendment to the Allegheny County 2004 Capital Budget as set forth in Attachment A hereto increasing the authorized expenditure amount from $1,600,000 to $1,917,000 for Heavy Equipment and Fleet Replacement.  The additional $317,000 increase will be 100% funded by monies available in the Sale of Assets holding account, whose specific purpose is to make fleet replacement purchases.                                           

 

Section 3.                     Amendment of Line Item Detail.

 

                     The line item detail of the appropriations previously approved by Council shall be amended as reflected in Attachment A hereto, the provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 4.                     Severability                      If any provision of this Resolution shall be determined to be unlawful, invalid, void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be considered severable from the remaining provisions of this Resolution which shall be in full force and effect.

 

Section 5.                     Repealer                     Any Resolution or Ordinance or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
