Motion of the Council of Allegheny County pulling Bill No. 4182-08, providing that the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County remit $6.6 million in revenue received from the Pennsylvania Gaming Economic Development and Tourism Fund in 2008, and all future receipts from the Pennsylvania Gaming Economic Development and Tourism Fund to the County of Allegheny, from committee for an immediate final vote.

 

Body

                     WHEREAS, Bill No. 4182-08 was introduced and referred to the Committee on Economic Development and Housing on July 1, 2008; and

 

                     WHEREAS, July 1, 2008 was one hundred eighty-eight (188) days prior to the Regular Meeting at which this Motion will be introduced; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Rules of Allegheny County Council, Article IV, Section B.1., allow for bills to be pulled from committee by affirmative vote of a majority of the seated members of Council, if such motion is made after sixty (60) days from the date of the first reading of the bill;

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,

 

That this Council hereby pulls Bill No. 4182-08 from the Committee on Economic Development and Housing and authorizes an immediate final vote on the bill.
