Proclamation recognizing Celeste Stevens for her dedicated service to Allegheny County Council.

WHEREAS, since its inception, Allegheny County Council has been fortunate in its ability to employ staff whose knowledge and determination have contributed greatly to the foundation and growth of Council as a vital part of Allegheny County government; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Celeste Stevens has worked as an Executive Secretary for County Council since February of 2012, and since that time she has repeatedly comported herself with grace and professionalism in assisting the Council with its daily operations; and
WHEREAS, in addition to preparing the capital, operating and grants and special accounts budgets 2013 and 2014 Briefing Manuals, Ms. Stevens provided assistance with Council's budget, purchasing, payroll, expenditures, budget & finance committee meetings, correspondence, staff scheduling, office supplies and equipment and records; and
WHEREAS, throughout her tenure with Council, Ms. Stevens has provided support to its Members, and offered her best in the service of the County's residents;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Allegheny County Council does hereby recognize Ms. Celeste Stevens for her consistent dedication and contributions to County government while serving both County Council and the citizens of Allegheny County. Council hereby bestows its most sincere thanks and extends its most profound wishes for her happiness and success in the future.
