Proclamation recognizing and commending Ms. Dianah Broome, Vice President of the Tenet Council for Millview Acres, for her numerous contributions to her community.

WHEREAS, Allegheny County is blessed with individuals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our neighborhood and the community as a whole; individuals like Ms. Diane Broome who has placed her stamp of character and hard work throughout the community by serving as Vice President of the Tenet Council for Millview Acres; and

 

WHEREAS, residing in Millview Acres since 1964, Ms. Broome has served the residents of Millview Acres for twenty-one years, first as Resident Council President and currently as Vice President of the Tenet Council; and

                     

WHEREAS, Diane has worked tirelessly for the betterment of her community, and is particularly recognized as being instrumental in facilitating the rehabilitation of Millview Acres; and

 

WHEREAS, in honor of Diane's dedication and commitment, Millview Acres Resident Council is dedicating its Community Center in her name as a tribute to her tireless efforts on behalf of Millview Acres;

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Allegheny County Council does hereby recognize and commend Ms. Diane Broome, Vice President of the Tenet Council for Millview Acres, for her numerous contributions to Millview Acres, and for providing a sense of community in which Allegheny County Council is extremely proud.  Diane's long and distinguished service and commitment to Allegheny County and its residents serves as an inspiration to us all.
