MOTION OF THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY
To reapprove the Rules of Council.
WHEREAS, the Rules of Allegheny County Council, as currently drafted, make no provision for periodic review and reauthorization of the Rules; and
WHEREAS, it is interest of Council to provide for efficient and effective functioning of the County Council; and
WHEREAS, it is therefore the desire of Council to reauthorize and update the existing Rules, while providing for the periodic review of those Rules;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,
That this Council hereby reauthorizes and amends the Rules of Council as delineated in the Attachment to this Motion.
