This Certificate of Recognition is presented to the Gateway Clipper Fleet upon the momentous occasion of its 50^th anniversary.  Since 1958, the fleet has grown from a one boat, 100 passenger operation to the five boats, 2,500 passenger fleet of today.  The original Gateway Clipper first sailed on May 17, 1958 from the Monongahela Wharf with the local YMCA as its first passengers.  Since then, the addition of four more boats has allowed the Gateway Clipper Fleet to become Allegheny County's primary destination for year-round dining, sightseeing, and entertainment cruises.   Allegheny County Council congratulates and recognizes you upon this momentous occasion and we wish you continued success in the future.
