This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest by the Western Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). This elite group of the area’s most accomplished men and women are honored each year for their success in their careers and their involvement in the Pittsburgh community. The honorees commit to raising much needed funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), and their efforts were celebrated at a special gala hosted by CFF and WHIRL Magazine on August 13, 2015 at the Omni William Penn Hotel. The mission of CFF is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care. On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest, Allegheny County Council does hereby congratulate each individual for being named one of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest and we commend their advocacy and support of the Western Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Furthermore, this Council does hereby declare Thursday, August 13, 2015 to be “Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest Day” in Allegheny County.
