Proclamation recognizing Jonathan Fichman for his consistent dedication and for his contributions to the County government while serving both County Council and the citizens of Allegheny County.
Body
WHEREAS, since its inception, Allegheny County Council has been fortunate in its ability to employ staff and interns whose knowledge and determination have contributed greatly to the foundation and growth of Council as a vital part of Allegheny County government; and
WHEREAS, interns like Jonathan Fichman have repeatedly proven themselves willing to exceed the expectations of Council and their fellow staff members with their exemplary work ethic and commitment to the dignity of County Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fichman was hired by County Council on June 13, 2005, and since that time he has repeatedly comported himself with grace and professionalism in performing any and all tasks requested of him, from general research to performing constituent service functions and assisting throughout the Office of County Council; and
WHEREAS, throughout his brief tenure with Council, Mr. Fichman has given untiring service to this County and the Council and, in the process, has provided invaluable support to its Members; and
WHEREAS, both Council Members and staff have come to regard Mr. Fichman as a friend who will be greatly missed as he returns to complete his course of study at Tufts University;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Allegheny County Council does hereby recognize Jonathan Fichman for his consistent dedication and for his contributions to the County government while serving both County Council and the citizens of Allegheny County. Council hereby bestows its most sincere thanks and extends its most profound wishes for happiness and success in the future.
