Allegheny County Council is proud to present this Certificate of Achievement to Dr. Maura Stevenson in recognition of her reception of the 2009 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Excellence Award. Peers and academic deans selected Dr. Stevenson because of her thorough experience as a learner and as a professional within institutions of higher learning. She has held academic appointments within schools across the region and has served on government research teams regarding national fitness programs. Her knowledge and dedication are vital pieces of what has made the college an important figure of the county. Dr. Stevenson serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
