On behalf of Allegheny County Council, this Certificate of Recognition is presented to Ms. Karen Davidson of the Riverview School District for leading three students in painting a patriotic mural on the High Street steps leading from the Verona cannons to North Avenue. Ms. Davidson has provided a great service to the community of Verona by beautifying an area typically defaced by graffiti. While painting the area has been discussed for many years, the operation was finally put into action by Ms. Davidson and her students. We commend Ms. Davidson for selflessly serving our community, and we hope others will follow her gracious actions by volunteering to improve the Borough of Verona.
