Body...

This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. John Robert Stobba of Boy Scout Troop 368 in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, scouting's most distinguished honor. This Council commends Mr. Stobba's diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career, his growth as a troop leader, and his dedication to our community. For his Eagle Scout project, Mr. Stobba beautified the grounds of St. Teresa of Avila Church and School by building a nine layer Versa-Lok block planter and filling it with four Dwarf Alberta's and summer flowers. It took more than 380 hours of labor to build the planter. Mr. Stobba, a senior at North Allegheny Senior High School, will be attending Penn State University in the fall 2015 to major in Petroleum Engineering. Mr. Stobba has given many hours of service to the school, his parish of St. Teresa of Avila, and the community.  Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. Stobba has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow.  He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
