This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Neil Patrick McGuire in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, scouting's most distinguished honor. This Council commends Mr. McGuire's diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career, his growth as a troop leader, and his dedication to our community. For his Eagle Scout project, Mr. McGuire provided exceptional leadership for a project that refurbished sign posts in the Mount Vernon Cemetery. The project entailed scrubbing, painting and detailing the signs for ease of use by visitors. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. McGuire has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow. He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
