This Certificate of Recognition is awarded to the 1957 Duquesne Little League Baseball All-Star Team in recognition of the momentous occasion of your 50^th Anniversary.  These athletes have the distinction of being the only players in the Mon Valley area that ever played in the Williamsport, Pennsylvania World Series. We commend each player for their diligence and skill displayed on the baseball field, and we thank Mr. George Reganick for his planning efforts which made the anniversary celebration possible.  This distinguished endeavor and accomplishment is worthy of our County of Champions, earning the esteem of the citizens of Allegheny County.  We congratulate the Duquesne Little League Baseball All-Star Team for reaching their 50 year milestone, which serves as an inspiration to this Council and the citizens of Allegheny County.
