This Certificate of Achievement is presented to Pittsburgh Allderdice High School to celebrate and honor all City Championships earned in the history of Taylor Allderdice High School. Pittsburgh Allderdice High School is a neighborhood school located in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill community. Allderdice offers 17 varsity sports. Since 1927, Allderdice High School has earned 370 City Championships; the first Championship was earned in 1936 by the Cross Country team.  On December 9, 2014, the school will raise 31 banners during half-time of the Allderdice vs. Fox Chapel boys' varsity basketball game. Allegheny  County Council does hereby declare December 9, 2014 as Allderdice Championship Banner Day in Allegheny County. Each of these championship teams has set a positive example of excellence for all of Allegheny County, continuing evidence that this is the County of Champions.
