An Ordinance of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, amending Ordinance No. 32066 entitled “Ordinance of the County of Allegheny creating a body corporate and politic known as the Allegheny Regional Asset District; providing for the levy, assessment and imposition upon each separate sale at retail of tangible personal property or services within the boundaries of Allegheny County of a one percent (1%) tax on the purchase price; providing for the levy, assessment and imposition upon the use within the County of tangible personal property purchased at retail of and on services purchased at retail of a one percent (1%) tax on the purchase price; providing for the levy, assessment and imposition of a one percent (1%) excise tax on the rent upon every occupancy of a room or rooms in a hotel in Allegheny County; and instituting a program of local tax relief for the citizens of Allegheny County,” enacted March 31, 1994, and subsequently amended by Ordinance 33-00 enacted November 21, 2000, Ordinance 14-01 enacted February 6, 2001, Ordinance 02-03-OR enacted January 22, 2003, and Ordinance 61-03-OR enacted December 16, 2003 by designating Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall as a regional asset and providing that funding be appropriated for its operation on a contractual basis.

The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
SECTION 1.
Article III of Ordinance No. 32066 shall be amended by adding the following subsection:
Section 3 - Designation of Support
The District shall provide contractual financial support for the following:
(a) Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall
SECTION 2. If any provision of this Ordinance shall be determined to be unlawful, invalid, void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be considered severable from the remaining provisions of this Ordinance which shall be in full force and effect.
