This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to South Fayette Middle School for earning 1^st Place in Allegheny County's 16^th annual Excellence in Food Protection Awards.  The award recognizes food facilities that go beyond minimum code requirements and undertake extraordinary efforts in food safety and sanitation.  This award is presented yearly to the top performers in Allegheny County, with more than 8,000 licensed food establishments competing.  To earn this honor, an independent panel of judges visited and evaluated South Fayette Middle School's food services.  The South Fayette School District and South Fayette Middle School have set a high standard of commitment and dedication which the residents of our great County of Allegheny may follow, and which serves as an inspiration to this Council and the citizens of Allegheny County.
