This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Ms. Evelyn Nicholls Foremsky upon the momentous occasion of her 103rd birthday. Ms. Foremsky was born on March 4, 1911 in the fishing village of Sheffield in Cornwall, England. She came to the United States on the steamer Lapland when she was 8 years old. Her family settled in Braddock, Pennsylvania. In 1929, Evelyn met the late John Foremsky, moved to West Mifflin, and had two children, Allan John and Jane Lynn. She is the proud grandparent of two grandchildren, Brian and Tina, and she has five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Tyler, Cory, Kyan and Dylan. We honor Ms. Foremsky for her longevity, which can be attributed to her positive attitude and outlook. Furthermore, we commend Ms. Foremsky for her independent spirit, taking a proactive approach to life, and we wish her the best as she celebrates her 103rd birthday.
