An Ordinance of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, authorizing the conveyance of the County of Allegheny’s interest in the four parcels known as Block 643-B Lot # 207, Block 643-B Lot # 209, Block 643-B Lot # 215, and Block 643-B Lot # 217 (“the Properties”) located in the Borough of Wall, East Allegheny School District, County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to George Mrjenovich.
Whereas, the Properties are vacant land jointly owned by the Borough of Wall, East Allegheny School District and Allegheny County; and
Whereas, George Mrjenovich desires to purchase the Properties thereby returning the Properties to the tax rolls of Allegheny County; and
Whereas, The Borough of Wall and the East Allegheny County School District previously approved the conveyance of their respective interests held therein to George Mrjenovich for the price of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) for each of the Properties; and
Whereas, Article IV Section 2(k) of the Home Rule Charter of Allegheny County vests County Council with the power and duty to convey by ordinance real property owned by the County of Allegheny.
The Council of the County of Allegheny hereby enacts as follows:
SECTION 1. Incorporation of the Preamble.
The provisions set forth in the preamble to this Ordinance are incorporated by reference in their entirety herein.
SECTION 2. Approval of Transfer of County Interest
in Jointly Owned Properties - Wall Borough
A. The County Council of Allegheny County hereby does approve the transfer of the interest held therein by the County of Allegheny in the properties known as Block 643-B Lot # 207, Block 643-B Lot # 209, Block 643-B Lot # 215, and Block 643-B Lot # 217 to George Mrjenovich.
B. The proper officers of the County of Allegheny are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents, including deeds, necessary to effectuate the conveyance of the County’s interest in the Properties.
