MOTION OF THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY
Authorizing the Council's Executive Committee to select from responsible bidders and select a proposal to provide in-house information technology (I.T.) services to the office of Allegheny County Council.
Whereas, on March 17, 2014, the Office of Allegheny County Council issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Allegheny County I.T. Solutions; and
Whereas, as of the closing date for the RFP, the Office of County Council received two responses from responsible bidders; and
Whereas, the Council's Executive Committee has heard presentations from both responsive responsible bidders, and has discussed the proposals from both bidders; and
Whereas, it is the judgment of Council that the Executive Committee should determine which proposal to accept;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MOVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY,
That this Council hereby authorizes the Council's Executive Committee to select from the responsible bidders and select a proposal to provide in-house information technology services to the office of Allegheny County Council.
