This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Dusten Pisarcik in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, scouting's most distinguished honor. This Council commends Mr. Pisarcik's diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career, his growth as a troop leader, and his dedication to our community. For his Eagle Scout service project, Mr. Pisarcik worked with Steel Valley High School teachers Ms. Susan Olsen and Mr. Randy Zirkle to create an outdoor classroom area at the pond between Franklin Primary and the Steel Valley High School/Middle School. This project consisted of building two decks, stairs leading to one of them which extends over the pond about 8 feet, laying down fresh gravel in the pathways, repairing and cleaning of the classroom sitting area, cleaning up the garden area, fresh plantings and trash cleanup. With the help of the school district, Mr. Pisarcik ran electricity to the pavilion along with lights and working with Ms. Olsen, renewed the school's Environmental Club. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. Pisarcik has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow. He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
