WHEREAS, Attorney Mary Sue Ramsden, a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” and one of the “Best Lawyers in America,” is a founding partner of the family law firm of Raphael, Ramsden & Behers; and

WHEREAS, Attorney Ramsden received her Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976 and obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1979; She was one of the founders of the Matrimonial Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and was the first President of that Inn from 1995-1997; She continues as a Master Emeritus in the Matrimonial Inn of Court; and

WHEREAS, Attorney Ramsden is committed to serving the community as demonstrated by her service with the Pro Bono Project, KDKA You and the Law Day, University of Pittsburgh School of Law Moot Court, Military and Veterans Affairs committee, Attorneys Against Hunger Project, Legal Services pro bono Family Law legal clinic, Pittsburgh Action Against Rape (PAAR), and the Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh Children’s Pro Bono Mental Health Project; and

WHEREAS, Attorney Ramsden has served as President of Amen Corner, Co-President of the Womens Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania (WBA), Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA) Family Law Section, ACBA Family Law Council, ACBA Board of Governors, including its Judiciary Committee, the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) House of Delegates, PBA Commission on Women executive committee, and as a Charter Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation; and

WHEREAS, Attorney Ramsden has received many awards over the years including the WBA Susan B. Anthony Award (2003); the PBA Lynette Norton Award (2009); the Pittsburgh Business Times Women in Business Award (2012); as Chair of the ACBA Bench Bar Conference, s...
