This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to the South Allegheny Middle School in honor of the school's prestigious Pennsylvania Don Eichhorn Schools: Schools to Watch® second re-designation. The Schools to Watch® designation notes the middle school as one of a small number of diverse, high-performing, growth-oriented middle-grades schools demonstrating what all middle schools are capable of achieving. Schools are recognized for three years and must demonstrate progress and continued improvement on specific goals to be re-designated. South Allegheny Middle School is one of only 33 schools in Pennsylvania to be recognized in the program. This Council commends the South Allegheny Middle School for creating a supportive learning climate that allows students and teachers to excel in academics and in life. We congratulate the middle school students and staff of South Allegheny Middle School for being named a 2015 Don Eichhorn Schools to Watch® and we honor South Allegheny Middle School for being recognized as an elite school in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
