This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. Raymond T. Book of Whitehall, Pennsylvania upon the momentous occasion of his 90th birthday. Mr. Book was born on February 14, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Book is a World War II Veteran and served during the Invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He was employed at J&L Steel and later founded Book Real Estate. Mr. Book was elected to serve three (3) terms to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives 1983-1989. Mr. Book was a lead sponsor of the Pennsylvania Organ Donor Bill. Mr. Book also served as Chairman of the Allegheny County Assessment Office from 1989-1984 and as a Board Member to the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission. Raymond married Mary Ann and together the couple had six children: Larry, Karen, Linda, Raymond II, Kevin and Charlotte. We honor Mr. Book for his longevity, which can be attributed to his positive outlook on life, and we wish him and his family all the best as he celebrates his 90th birthday.
