Allegheny County Council is pleased to present this Certificate of Recognition to the Borough of Whitehall for uniting citizens, hosting businesses and promoting community spirit during its 25th Annual 5K Race and Community Day Celebration on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Brennan Plaza and Snyder Park. The event, called the "Extreme" Summer Kick-Off will begin with the 5K race/1 mile fun walk, and will feature entertainment from Bill Deasy, Jeff Jimerson & Airborne, Chuck Blasko & The Vogues, the Baldwin High School Marching Band, Perfection on Wheels Bicycle Stunt Show, Fire & Ice All-Stars, Dynamic Martial Arts Demonstration, and Shade Sisters Dance Studio. The event will also include a variety of vendors, food, crafts, games and raffles, a mobile zipline, a rock climbing wall, inflatables, face painting and DJ music. We recognize and thank the Borough of Whitehall for bringing this fun and memorable event to its residents year after year.
