Proclamation thanking Adam Barth, Jason Browne, Kathy Fahy, Marie Fallon, Jennifer Jones and Neil McBeth for engaging citizens in community service through Rollin’ with Rotary and declaring Sunday, August 2, 2015 to be “Rollin’ with Rotary Day” in Allegheny County.

WHEREAS, hopping into an RV, packed with the desire to inspire others, four young professionals known as Rollin’ with Rotary will bring attention to local and international needs by doing massive Random Acts of Kindness; highlighting Interact, Rotaract, and Rotary club activity; and creating large scale community service projects; and

WHEREAS, Adam Barth (Jacksonville, North Carolina), Jason Browne (State College, Pennsylvania), Kathy Fahy (Spirit Lake, Iowa) and Marie Fallon (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) along with Rotary International Director 2015-2017, Jennifer Jones and Zone 29 Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator Neil McBeth will travel from State College, Pennsylvania, on August 1st to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on August 9th to rally communities in an effort to create excitement about giving, sharing talents, sharing kindness with others and simply being a gift to the world; and

WHEREAS, cities along the Rollin’ with Rotary tour route will include State College, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Youngstown, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; Sandusky, Ohio; Perrysburg, Ohio; Detroit, Michigan; Windsor, Ontario; Evanston, Illinois; Madison, Wisconsin; Dubuque, Iowa; and Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and

WHEREAS, Rotary brings together a global network of volunteer leaders dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million members of more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. Their commitment to service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership improves lives at both the local and international levels, from helping families in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world;
