This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Betty Decker of McKeesport upon the monumental occasion of their 65th wedding anniversary. The former Betty Trainor and Alvin were married on August 12, 1950 in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in McKeesport by the Rev. O’Connor. Alvin was a specifications engineer for U.S. Steel National Works and Betty worked at The Donut Corner and Berto’s Restaurant. They volunteered for 23 years in the cafeteria of St. Joseph Regional School in Port Vue. They are the proud parents of Alberta and the grandparents of one grandson, Josh. We are pleased to recognize the couple’s impressive dedication to each other over so many years; only two people who are truly meant for one another can spend their lives together. We congratulate Alvin and Betty on this great milestone and wish them much happiness in the future.
