This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Mary Shumber of West Mifflin upon the monumental occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The former Mary Spallone and Shumber were married on September 11, 1965 in St. Cecelia Roman Catholic Church in Glassport by the Rev. Walter O’Hara. Frank was a foreman at U.S. Steel’s Duquesne Works and staff manager at Builders Square and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Mary was a teller at Great American/First Commonwealth banks at the Waterfront, Munhall and Caste Village. They are the proud parents of Carol and Michael and the grandparents of Kyle and Hunter. We are pleased to recognize the couple’s impressive dedication to each other over so many years; only two people who are truly meant for one another can spend their lives together. We congratulate Frank and Mary on this great milestone and wish them much happiness in the future.
