Proclamation congratulating the Pittsburgh Diversity and Leadership Conference’s 2015 Most Powerful and Influential Women and Leadership Excellence awardees.

WHEREAS, on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Pittsburgh Marriot City Center, the Pennsylvania Diversity Council hosted their 6th Annual Pittsburgh Diversity and Leadership Conference in a continuing effort to recognize and empower multiculturalism and leadership throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and
WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Diversity and Leadership Conference was created by Founder and CEO of the National Diversity Council, Dennis Kennedy, to provide an opportunity for professionals to grow in their knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices; and
WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Diversity and Leadership Conference recognized individuals who have made an impact in their organizations and communities with the Most Powerful and Influential Women Award and the Leadership Excellence Award; and
WHEREAS, the 2015 Most Powerful and Influential Women Recipients have demonstrated leadership, professional excellence, and an unwavering commitment to the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Allegheny County Council does hereby congratulate the 2015 Most Powerful and Influential Women Awardees, and we recognize each honoree for their exceptional achievement and contributions to enhancing the quality of life in Pennsylvania and Allegheny County.
