This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Matthew Busch of Boy Scout Troop 323 in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, scouting’s most distinguished honor. This Council commends Mr. Busch’s diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career and his dedication to our community. For his Eagle Scout service project, Matthew built a display case for the lobby of Paynter Elementary School of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District to showcase the students’ artwork and achievements. Matthew led his peers and constructed the display case made of oak plywood, with glass shelving and doors, saving the school an estimated display case cost of $3,000. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. Busch has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow. He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
