Proclamation congratulating Ms. Bonnie Conway upon the occasion of her retirement after 38 years of dedicated service to the Borough of Verona.

WHEREAS, Allegheny County is blessed with individuals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our neighborhood and the community as a whole; individuals such as Ms. Bonnie Conway who has placed her stamp of character and hard work throughout the community, as both a public servant and strong leader; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Conway is retiring from the Borough of Verona on December 31, 2015 after serving the community for 38 years; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Conway joined the Borough of Verona in 1977 as a Secretary and Treasurer, served for some time as a Tax Collector and eventually was appointed as the Borough Manager; and
WHEREAS, during Ms. Conway’s tenure with the Borough of Verona, she demonstrated outstanding leadership, exceptional professionalism, and loyalty to her employees, the Borough Mayor and Council and the public she served;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Allegheny County Council does hereby congratulate Ms. Bonnie Conway upon the occasion of her retirement from the Borough of Verona, and we thank her for her genuine and unwavering public service. Furthermore, we join her family and friends in celebrating this momentous occasion and we wish Ms. Conway all the best in her future endeavors.
