This Certificate of Recognition is presented to Mr. Joseph Rogowski upon the momentous occasion of his 102nd birthday. Mr. Rogowski, one of nine children, was born on December 19, 1913 and grew up in McKees Rocks Borough. Mr. Rogowski was an infantry sergeant in the Army and served in World War II. He received two Purple Hearts after serving in Puerto Rico and Germany. Mr. Rogowski was married to his beloved, late wife, Anella, for 63 years. The couple had four children. Mr. Rogowski worked at Pittsburgh Screw and Bolt, as a stationary engineer for 20 years at Superior Steel Mill and the VA Hospital in Oakland where he worked until the age of 82. We honor Mr. Joseph Rogowski for his longevity, which can be attributed to his positive outlook on life, and we wish him and his family all the best as he celebrates his 102nd birthday.
