Proclamation congratulating the Honorable Kevin Larkin for his dedicated service to Verona Borough.

WHEREAS, Allegheny County is blessed with individuals dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our neighborhood and the community as a whole; individuals such as the Honorable Kevin Larkin who has placed his stamp of character and hard work throughout the community, as both a public servant and a strong leader; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Larkin served 14 dedicated years to Verona Borough as an elected official; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Larkin severed as Allegheny Valley North COG President for one year, and chaired the communications, parks and fire committees while on council. He was also credited as one of the Verona Fall Festival Founders; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure with Verona Borough Council, Mr. Larkin used his considerable talents, energies and resources to make the community a great place to live in, work in and visit; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Larkin acted always in the best interests of the constituents of Verona Borough;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Allegheny County Council does hereby congratulate the Honorable Kevin Larkin upon his service as Councilman of Verona Borough, and we thank him for his genuine and unwavering public service. Furthermore, we join his family and friends in celebrating this momentous occasion, and we wish Mr. Larkin all the best in his future endeavors.
