Allegheny County Council is proud to present this Certificate of Recognition to Sergeant Andrea Lewis-Hamer upon the occasion of her retirement from the Allegheny County Police Department. Sergeant Lewis-Hamer’s accomplishments are many and varied and have established Allegheny County’s Police Department as a model on a national scale. She has diligently guarded the safety of our county’s residents over the course of her exemplary 26-year career, and this endeavor has earned both the esteem and the respect of the citizens of Allegheny County. Her dedication to serving her community even at great risk to herself has conferred honor upon the county to be shared by each of us and, for that, we commend her.
