This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Mihir A. Gite of Boy Scout Troop 4 in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, scouting’s most distinguished honor. This Council commends Mr. Gite’s diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career and his dedication to our community. For his Eagle Scout service project, Mihir led Troop 4 to design and build two carrying cases for books, videos and other items that counselors use with veterans in the “No Veteran Dies Alone” program, which provides companionship and comfort to dying veterans, at the Veterans Administration (VA) Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Mihir raised $3,167 for the project, and donated the remaining funds to the program. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mihir has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow. He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
