This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to the 2015-2016 Bethel Park High School Competitive Cheerleading Team in recognition of winning the National High School Cheerleading Championship and the World High School Cheerleading Championship on February 7, 2016 in Orlando, Florida.  The Black Hawks’ victory in the national competition qualified them to compete in the world competition, where teams from the United States and more than 10 other countries competed. Bethel Park won both competitions in the large varsity non-tumbling category at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. We commend and recognize each cheerleader and coach whose determination and resolve led to this achievement. The team has set a positive example of excellence for all of Allegheny County, continuing evidence that this is the County of Champions.  This achievement has conferred honor on this County and is an accomplishment in which the entire community can be proud.
