WHEREAS, the Sixth Annual Pittsburgh Circle of Courage Awards will be presented to 28 honorees on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Doubletree Hotel in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, to recognize individuals that have displayed faith, courage and leadership in their chosen field; and
WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Circle of Courage Awards, hosted by BCC Ministries of Brown Chapel Church of the North Side and sponsored by Bynums Marketing & Communications and Familylinks, celebrates leaders in the Pittsburgh community; and
WHEREAS, the event is designed to be a source of encouragement to individuals who have displayed outstanding faith and courage in their careers, ministries, and other aspects of life;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Allegheny County Council, on behalf of the citizens of Allegheny County, does hereby congratulate the 2016 Pittsburgh Circle of Courage Awardees, and we thank you for your commitment, faith, and courage which serves as an inspiration to the residents of Allegheny County.
