Proclamation congratulating Mr. Larry Seiler upon the occasion of his retirement from Senate Engineering Company and thanking him for his 30 years of service as the engineer for Verona Borough.

WHEREAS, Mr. Larry Seiler, P.E. has announced his retirement from Senate Engineering Company after more than 37 years of loyal and dedicated service; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Seiler has served as the engineer for Verona Borough for more than 30 years and has been a key participant in Verona’s municipal improvements; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Seiler has made a lasting contribution to Verona by establishing and coordinating policies and procedures designed to allow the borough to comply with federal, state and local environmental regulations, thereby protecting the borough’s interests and providing a high quality of life for the citizens of Verona; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Seiler has provided his valuable planning, technical and management skills for many notable Verona Borough projects including a sewer-repair project, the streetscape revitalization project and the parks project, just to name a few; and
WHEREAS, the past 30 years of Mr. Seiler’s service to the citizens of Verona have been marked by exemplary dedication to his job and the application of engineering principles that were always in the best interests of the community and the welfare of Verona’s citizens;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Allegheny County Council does hereby commend Mr. Larry Seiler for his outstanding service to the Borough of Verona and although he is retiring, he will always be remembered as a valued individual dedicated to both his position and our community. We extend our personal best wishes upon his retirement and for continued success in his life’s pursuits.
