This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Cullen Linkenheimer of Boy Scout Troop 653 in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting; less than 2 percent of all male youth are able to earn this rank. Mr. Linkenheimer has met all necessary requirements in areas of Leadership, Service and Outdoor Skills to advance to the Eagle Scout rank. This Council commends Mr. Linkenheimer’s diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career and his dedication to our community. For his leadership service project, Cullen built a K-9 training and agility course at the West Deer Police Department in West Deer Township. The course includes four separate jumps that can be adjusted from 2 to 4 feet high, a catwalk, an A-frame, and four cars that will be used to train dogs to search for narcotics and other contraband.  A number of local police departments have expressed interest in using the new facility, demonstrating that Cullen’s project will benefit several communities. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. Cullen Linkenheimer has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow.  He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
