This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Charles Henry Meyers of Boy Scout Troop 4 in recognition of his attainment of the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting; less than 2 percent of all male youth are able to earn this rank. Mr. Meyers has met all necessary requirements in areas of Leadership, Service and Outdoor Skills to advance to the Eagle Scout rank. This Council commends Mr. Meyers’ diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career and his dedication to our community. For his leadership service project, Charlie renovated a toy closet at St. Benedict’s Catholic Preschool. He emptied the closet, removed the existing shelves, painted the closet, installed new shelves, built a toy box and returned the toys to the closet, along with painting an outside sandbox. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. Meyers has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow. He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
