WHEREAS, each year Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh presents deserving volunteers and partners with awards at the Annual Celebrate Coalitions Awards event, recognizing the importance of teamwork and cooperation to their vital community services; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of their praiseworthy work furthering the charitable mission and goals of Big Brothers Big Sisters, the 2016 Award honorees will be recognized at the Bowl for Kids Sake Kickoff and 7th Annual Celebrate Coalitions Award event on January 10, 2017 at James Street Speakeasy for their efforts on behalf of the agency:
Garret Gibson ~ Young Professional Outreach Board Member of the Year
Jenny Sabol ~ Male Recruitment Advisory Board/BIG Recruitment Board Member of the Year
Correy Dandoy ~ Washington County Advisory Board Member of the Year
Amber Rooke ~ Youth Outcomes Advisory Board Member of the Year
Kim Dinnin ~ BIG Alumni Association Member of the Year
Carnegie Science Center ~ BIG Community Partner of the Year
The Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund ~ BIG Community Partner of the Year;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Allegheny County Council does hereby congratulate the 2016 Celebrate Coalitions Awardees, and we thank them for their dedicated service to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh.
