This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. James Daw, a member of Boy Scout Troop 85, in recognition of having met all necessary requirements to advance to the Eagle Scout ranking within the Boy Scouts of America. Eagle Scout is the highest Boy Scout rank; only five percent of all Boy Scouts earn this rank. This Council commends Mr. Daw’s diligence and skill: two traits he has displayed throughout his scouting career and his dedication to improving the community. For his service project, James renovated the outdoor courts at East Allegheny High School. He dug out and removed an underground bees nest from the flower bed in the middle of the court, he laid landscape fabric and mulch, planted flowers, cut grass and power washed the bricks and concrete. Throughout his participation in the Boy Scouts, Mr. Daw has set a high standard of commitment and fervor that the youth of our great county may follow. He serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
